How to tell your hubby...

I don't have much to write about today. It's been a strange day for me. This morning I was really busy, this afternoon I was really NOT busy, and tonight I am REALLY busy! I guess that's life. It did give me time to prepare a delicious meal for supper though. We had marinated steaks, with roasted potatoes and asparagus. YUM!

Anyways, I was just wondering.... how did all you moms tell your hubby's that you were pregnant? Did you surprise them? Did you find out together? The reason I ask is that I day-dream A LOT and I always wonder how I will let Jeff know. I have an idea that I have had from the beginning, but I was just wondering if there were any others out there? Leave me a comment with your story or idea.

A friend of mine concieved shortly before fathers day. She told ber hubby by getting him a Happy "Father-to-be" card for father's day. As for us, I took the tests and then told my hubby the results. Neither of ours were planned, and with our second I had three false negatives, fully knowing I was pregnant before I finally told him about the positive.

OK, Mailman's Wife!!! It's not a secret, just not something Shannon's going to want to model!

:) Neither one of ours were planned. Joshua was conceived before we were married. When I found out I was pregnant, Steve was in Manitoba, I was in BC, our parents were in Newfoundland and Ontario. The news was told in tears over the phone...hoping I wouldn't be dumped! :) We were married two weeks after Joshua was born and we just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary.

Jonah was born 13 months after Joshua. I found out I was expecting him when I was already 4 months pregnant...We had a 7-month-old baby at home...so again...tears...

...man...we need a nice "I'm pregnant" story, with romantic cards and such...

Ok, it's not like I don't read these posts and and don't get the hint, Christina. Aren't I romantic enough?

I'm a few days behind now, but my story is similar to Christina. Except that I was married, my first husband left me cause I was pregnant. The second one, I was married to my honey Rick, and we had only been married three weeks, he was at his last session for school in Vancouver, I told him when he was home for the weekend, and showed him the puppy I had bought while he was away all at the same time!! He was a not so happy man!! I think it was a little overwhelming. I think the best day was when I called to tell him the baby was on its way! Way more fun!

I guess we will have to wait and see how you get to tell!
